Game Day
A Unique Reward for Special Students
Special On-Field Opportunity
The "Big Game" event, hosted by Standard Pacific Homes at a late-season 49ers game, brings the Fall and Winter portion of the StanPac Scholarship Program to a close. Prior to the football game, Scholars with the three winning essays are invited down to the field along with Standard Pacific Northern Regional President Doug Krah for a special ceremony recognizing the achievements of all the StanPac Scholars. All eyes are on the field as the winning students accept a commemorative check for the entire scholarship amount presented on behalf of all the StanPac Scholars, over $29,000 in 2007.
Enjoying the Day at Monster Park
A reception for the Scholars is hosted in several catered luxury suites during the game, giving the Scholars a day full of fun, food, and football.
Select 49ers representatives and KNBR personalities often visit the reception, too. This year, 49ers alumni Steve Bono, Jesse Sapolu, Eric Wright and the Gold Rush Cheerleaders stopped by to congratulate the winners!
