A Tradition of Honoring Excellence
With a continued dedication to honoring excellence in local schools and communities, Standard Pacific Homes has been sponsoring the StanPac Scholarship Program in Northern California since 2005. In the last two years alone, Standard Pacific awarded more than $56,000 in scholarships and prizes to deserving students. This year, we expect to award even more!Scholarships for Outstanding Students
Each year, Standard Pacific identifies and rewards outstanding local high school seniors. Winning students are selected by school officials based on their commitment to community service and stellar academic achievement. Each StanPac Scholar receives a $1,000 scholarship toward college education.During the San Francisco 49ers regular football season, winning students are announced weekly in a series of commercials airing on the KNBR 680 and 1050 radio stations. Tune in to KNBR during the 49ers season to hear new winners.
Rewarding Achievement with a Day of Fun!
One of the most notable aspects about the StanPac Scholarship Program is the "Big Game" celebration, held each year at a late-season 49ers game. Standard Pacific hosts a congratulatory reception in several luxury boxes, where StanPac Scholars can watch the 49ers game in style. Each student receives a scholarship check, posters, and a gift bag at the event.In addition, based on a StanPac Scholar essay contest, the authors of the three winning essays join Standard Pacific Northern Regional President Doug Krah on the field during half-time for a ceremony honoring all of the StanPac Scholars and their achievements.
Recognition in Schools and Local Communities
Each Spring, Standard Pacific representatives also attend Scholars' Senior Awards Nights throughout Northern California where the Scholars' accomplishments are honored one more time in front of family, friends, and school administrators.Standard Pacific Homes is honored to make you right at home by honoring excellence in our schools and our communities.
