Meet the Scholars
Lauren has been named a semifinalist in the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Program. She scored in the top 1% of the 1.4 million students who took the preliminary SAT nationwide. She is first in her class of 855 students and has received the Most Outstanding Award for Advanced Placement Calculus, Honors Chemistry and Japanese. Lauren spent two weeks in Chichibu, Japan as a member of the Antioch-Chichibu Sister City organization. While there she lived with host families while experiencing the Japanese culture and using her three years of Japanese language instruction.
