Rhiannon Benson

Rhiannon, a teacher’s assistant in Spanish, has compiled a 4.2 grade point average with a course load that has included honors classes in U.S. History, English, Calculus and Chemistry. She has served as treasurer of Mount Diablo’s Gay-Straight Alliance and is a three-year member of the school’s Digital Safari Multimedia Academy. This summer, she conducted a software design internship at Epoch Learning and has volunteered her time as a peer tutor since 2003. In 2004, she was voted most valuable player on Mount Diablo’s cross country team. Rhiannon is looking to attend UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego or Cal Poly. She lists international relations or international law as possible college majors.
