Norah Mutuma

Fred C. Beyer High School, Modesto
Sponsoring Standard Pacific Community: Burkshire Estates

A two-time recipient of Beyer High's Patriot Award for excellence in Algebra and Geometry, Norah has compiled a 4.0 grade point average during her high school career. She's the current renaissance coordinator for the Leadership Club and has volunteered time to the Spanish and Key Clubs, as well as the Link Crew. Norah is also a student in the Eligibility Local Context Program, where the top four percent of students in each California high school class will be designated UC-eligible based on the coursework taken at the high school. Norah lists becoming a pediatrician as her career goal and she looks forward to majoring in biology at Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley or UC Davis.
