Joshua Qin

A senior with a cumulative 4.65 grade point average, Joshua is the president of his school's Science Olympiad and cultural commissioner of Franklin High's associated student body. He is also the founder of the school's Chinese Culture Club, vice president of the Chess Club and a member of the varsity tennis team. As an academic decathlete, he has helped the Wildcats earn four medals in county competition since 2004. Outside of school, he's an active member of the Elk Grove Chinese Association, and, works as a part time piano instructor and clerk at a local sandwich shop. Joshua is eyeing a career in medicine and would like to attend Stanford, Duke, UC Berkeley or UCLA.
